Well we spent Christmas at my Dad's house this year. I think I can safely say it was the first time we've done that in Arizona. The Parrish clan is getting pretty big here now that I've gotten married and my sister has moved her family down here. What was really weird for me though was that my Mom came as well. So there we were the happy family my mom and dad, my sister, my niece, and Andrea. I can't remember ever having a Christmas with both my mom and dad at the same time. Andrea and my sister loved it, it just creeped me out though. Other than that it was great. Lots of good food, I had to restrain myself from eating too much (I need to lose 8 lbs over the next few days). We piled on the presents under the tree (my Dad actually got a real one this year) and had fun watching my 5 year old niece open her presents. I highly advise you spend Christmas in the presents of children even if you have to rent them. Its so much fun watching them open presents. We watched movies and basketball all day. I think Andrea was dissapointed because she wanted to watch a football game. I got the soundtrack to Serenity and a new sword, a new book, a hunting knife, some money and floor mats for the car.
